Celebrate local artistry: Summer Craft Fair at Llys-y-fran: Beachcomb Creations-2

On Saturday 10th August, between 10am – 4pm, Llys-y-fran will be hosting the Summer Craft Fair. This event will be held in a brand-new marquee, showcasing some of Pembrokeshire’s finest makers and producers. Admission to the event is free.

Visitors will have the opportunity to explore a diverse array of local crafts including glassware, leather goods, ceramics, and unique metalwork.

Beachcomb Creations will be featuring pieces made from driftwood, sea glass and sea pottery all collected from Pembrokeshire beaches. Annie Wood Artist, a passionate landscape painter from Tresaith captures the hidden beauty of the natural world, drawing inspiration from local ecology and natural history.

Cruising Free Atlantic Row 2025, a team of four Pembrokeshire women preparing to row across the Atlantic in 2025 will be selling homemade cards, bags and locally printed t-shirts and hoodies, with all profits supporting their Atlantic row.

The Thread Room, a family business run by sisters-in-law Jane and Sarah, will be showcasing practical beach bags and totes, inspired by local landscapes. They also create smaller items from fabric remnants and teach sewing in Neyland.

Llys-y-fran offers a range of adventures on both water and land, including watersports, fishing, cycling, walking, archery, Crazi Bugz, climbing wall and axe throwing. The visitor centre features a café and gift shop, where visitors can grab a bite, pick up a map, and browse for Welsh souvenirs.

You can enjoy camping in this rural retreat located in Pembrokeshire. Close enough to all the action in Tenby and St David’s, yet far enough to enjoy a peaceful break. The campsite overlooks the lake and has high-quality grass and hard standing pitches, many with electric hook-up. To find out more: https://llys-y-fran.co.uk/camping-west-wales/.
